GIVEN UP IS NOT AN OPTION.
I read about two tragic stories last week and seriously it has been bothering my mind. How on earth will someone commit suicide because of the challenges of life? I read about someone jumping into lagoon and one of the directors of civil service in Kogi state committed suicide by hanging himself because of what life had thrown at them. The clear picture is this; life is filled with ups and downs and it can choose to give to you one or the other at some point in time. There's nothing you're passing through that is not to build you and make you stronger. Life will not be birds of roses always, challenges will definitely come, but we need to be strong and fight against the battles that is been thrown at us. You must have to be courageous and stand firm to fight the battles, even if is threatening you, don't be scared but be of good courage. I learnt earlier that courage isn't absence of fear but overcoming fear with your courage, and I think that's true, there will be something that will want to put fear in you, but let courage take over that fear and you will come out victorious. Leaders are supposed to be brave and courageous and never wiling to give up no matter the threat that the challenges are posing at them. Look at the life on Nelson Mandela when he decided to fight apartheid, he was so courageous even when there was a threat to his life he refused to give up and today we're all celebrating him even as he is no more. Whatever you're passing through giving up should never come to mind nor be an option, fight the battles of life with all that's within you, never imagine given up. I learnt before now that winners never quit and quiters never win, that's it, you want to be a winning leader? Then don't quit, leaders don't quit no matter the threat even a threat to their lives. GREAT LEADERS NEVER QUIT NO MATTER WHAT.
