GREAT LEADERS SEES THEIR LEGACIES ONLY IN THE LIVES THEY TOUCHED, NOT IN ACCUMULATION OF WEALTH.


Legacy is a positive value(s) one lives behind or what is handed down for the  next generation to work with.Whether we like it or not, definitely one day we will not hold that position again. One day we will be no more and another generation will take over from us. If you're no more, what will people remember you for? That position you're holding now, how are you managing it?  What will people say about you if you're no longer there? Are you impacting lives positively, or otherwise? The greatest legacy anyone can leave behind is the legacy of impact.I can give you money today and with time the money will finish, but if I teach you something great today and you really digest it even in the next hundred years if you're still on earth that treasure will still be useful to you.


Great leaders never see material things as legacy rather they see impact. How many lives are you touching now? or what are you doing to benefit humanity now? Your greatest legacy will be how many lives you've touched and not the number of houses, cars, companies you will live behind. I share with you a story I heard from Oprah Winfrey; when I completed the building of the high school in South Africa, I returned back to Maya with so much excitement to share my testimony with her. Immediately I got to her with so much joy I said to her, Maya, I have built my greatest legacy, and without hesitation she said to me, "you've no idea of what your legacy will be, she went further to say that your legacy isn't in the accumulation of material possession but in the lives you've touched".



Look critically around you or study lives of great leaders, you will discover that what they consider as legacy is their impact. Touch lives with your gift, affect lives positively anytime you've the opportunity. Don't wait till you have money or until you are giving a leadership position. Any level you find yourself, maximise it to affect lives. God will help us all to be productive and affect lives positively. Have a great week ahead
