THE FOOLISHNESS OF IGNORANCE

Sometimes ago I went to a viewing center to see Chelsea match (of course my favorite team) and suddenly two of my fellow fans started arguing over a player.Actually one of them was correct but the other guy seems unbendable,even when almost everybody said he was wrong, he still maintained his stand.So in other for him to at least allow us to see the remaining part of the match peacefully, we had to agree with him and right there I realised that ignorance is a great disease. Once heard from bishop David Oyedepo that "we don't have mountain anywhere, everyone's ignorance is his own mountain" ignorance can make a fool out of anybody no matter how learned you think you are. Please don't argue over what you're not certain of,we learn everyday and even from arguments. So whenever you're arguing with someone, stop at where your own knowledge about the topic stops and listen, no one ever knows everything, no one is an island of knowledge, professors don't know everything, their knowledge stop at their field and probably little things they learn from other people. Be wise and learn from people and things around you. Arguing blindly will make a fool out of your wisdom and on the other hand arguing diplomatically can make you appear before people wise even as a foolish person that you're.
