SILENCE; A GREAT VIRTUE FOR LEADERS
I have seen a lot of articles against leaders of this great Nation so many times and I have learnt many things from it in my quest to know more about leadership. I have seen a situation where leaders pick fight against those that write against them and at the same time I have seen a situation where they just ignore the critics and their articles and also I have seen where they tried to be fair with their response to any article both for/ against them. After scrutinizing all of them; those that kept quiet, those that responded and those that fight their critics, I discovered the best of all is to keep quiet and adjust.
When you see any leader fighting his subject(s) or colleagues because they criticized him, that means he is guilty of what they're criticizing him for.
A good leader is always focused, always doing the best and because you're doing the best doesn't mean people will not still criticize you. One of the signs of a mature leader I have discovered is not fighting those who criticize you even if they're criticizing you falsely. But how many of our leaders today in this country can do that? Leaders now see opposition as enemity and instead of proving them wrong by doing the right things, they fight those criticizing them. Using the money meant for the development and welfare of their subjects to fight the so-called enemies. Do the right things and forget about critics. GOOD LEADERS DON'T SEE OPPOSITIONS AS ENEMITY.
