A PRESERVED CHILDHOOD IS BETTER THAN A REPAIRED ADULTHOOD.

I'm not yet married and haven't given birth before but, I have always known that it's better to preserve a child from some experience than to repair him/her after testing some things.

I always have this habit of correcting any child I see misbehaving because, I believe if they're not chastised they may not know the implications of their action(s); (not because I'm perfect anyway). I have seen a lot of parents trivializing issues they suppose to take serious with their children, they pampered their children like their eggs and at the end of the whole things those children grow up and become unwanted in the society because of social vices they involve in.

 The same thing goes to leaders, you will have to take drastic measure when necessary, don't always trivialised issues that are suppose to be treated with utmost discipline. Whenever your subject(s) err, try and make them understand the implications of their actions and let the necessary punishment attached to it be measured to them, (except if they're pardonable offence). You don't shy away the truth from your subjects for any reason, they mayn't even know until they're told or corrected. Be bold to challenge them when they're wrong and always make sure you're not guilty of the same issue you want to correct them for. GOOD LEADERS ARE ALWAYS DISCIPLINE.
