WORKING ON YOUR PURPOSE SINCERELY GLUE PEOPLE TO YOU.
One of the things I have discovered about purpose is that when you discover your purpose and you're working on it sincerely, people will follow you, your ability to convince people about what you're doing and share the vision with them is very important also. Most of the times we see leaders struggling with their subjects, that's because the subjects are not really aware of the purpose of the assignment. No matter how clear your purpose is if you can't convince people about it then you're not even sure of it yourself. You can't have a purpose and be quiet about it, you will always want to discuss about it, you will always be happy about it, and purpose don't remain stagnant, purpose is like pregnancy, you can't be pregnant and it will not be growing, no, if your pregnancy isn't growing then that's an abnormal one. Purpose grows in you and anytime you discuss about it, it keep you on your toes to work and make them convince that you really mean what you're saying and once you're able to convince them, then it will be easy for you to win their loyalty and work with them. John C. Maxwell put it this way: "the glue that holds a team together is unity of purpose". And to have this glue a lot of work is required.
Work is always needed in doing your purpose, and one of the works is to keep discussing your purpose with other people. Some people will say they're afraid of telling other people their purpose in case they will take it away from them, well, that may be true but the fact is photocopy can't be like original, if you're the real owner all those that will copy you will not be able to do it successfully. You really want to fulfill your purpose? Then get ready to discuss it and convince people about it. People don't follow people they follow their purpose and vision if they can be convinced enough.
GREAT LEADERS CONVINCE THEIR SUBJECTS.
