A GOOD LEADER FINISHES WHAT HE/SHE STARTED.

One of the greatest challenges facing my country (Nigeria) is
the culture of starting something and not finishing, you will see a lot of projects being abandoned either because the person that started has been voted out of the office or the project wasn't properly monitored. Whatever the case is, its a very bad culture and wasting of national resources. Nothing is wrong if you continue from where your predecessor stopped provided it is good for your subjects, political parties has nothing to do with the development and welfare of your subjects. If a project is in progress before you assume office finish it up before you start another one. A good leader finishes what he started. Don't ever quit on anything good you started, ensure you finish it to the end. Have a deadline for a project and be goal oriented, work tirelessly until you achieve what you desire. T D Jakes put it this way: "Be a finisher, refuse to be a quiter". Be a finisher, never you start what you know you can't finish, once you start anything do not stop until you see the end. No matter the obstacles, giving up on your work should never cross your mind, never you abandon any project you start working on. The world will not celebrate you for trying but will only celebrate you when you get to the end and they can see your result. You know you can't lead the group effectively? Don't waste your time and their time, let another person take charge and do the job, never you accept any responsibility you know you can't accomplish. GREAT LEADERS STARTS AND FINISH WELL.
